An identity project for a Vietnamese pop-up.
Masterchef Australia top ten contestant Tommy Pham was in need of a logo reflective of his personality and the heritage behind his cooking.
His story as reflected through the airing of Masterchef Australia portrayed a rich Vietnamese family cooking background with a particular fondness for fish sauce. The name behind his solo venture is a homage to his mother’s advice for preparing delicious Vietnamese dishes; “Early on my mum taught me that the foundations of Vietnamese cooking always starts with salt, sugar and mắm.”
As such, the mắm bottle and wording took center stage with his logo mark.
Alternates were developed to ensure he had an appropriate mark for all occasions.
